In this privacy statement we aim to provide clear and transparent information on how we handle personal data. We do everything we can to guarantee your privacy and therefore handle personal data with care. SK Oudegem complies in all cases with the applicable laws and regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (also known as GDPR).

 2.     Why do we process personal data?

Your personal data will be processed by SK Oudegem for the following purposes and legal grounds:

§ To enable you to participate in SK Oudegem’s activities (performance of agreement).

§ To send newsletters and invitations. (legitimate interest).

§ To obtain government subsidies (legal obligation).


3.     What data do we process?

We may request, store, collect and process the following personal data from you for the following purposes :

§ Identity data : name, first name, address, telephone number, e-mail.

§ Identity data issued by government : identity card number.

§ National register number.

§ Personal characteristics : gender, date of birth, place of birth, nationality.

§ Photos taken by employees of our club.


4.     Who processes the data?

The data are processed by the following external organisations:

§ Board members of the club.

§ Volunteers of the association.


 5.     Provision to third parties

We may provide the data you provide to us to third parties if this is necessary for carrying out the purposes described above.

For example, we use a third party (processor) for:

§ providing the internet environment (web hosting).

§ Taking care of the IT infrastructure (e.g. IT network, …).

§ providing (and distributing) newsletters and invitations.

We never pass on personal data to processors (other parties) other than those with whom we have concluded a processing agreement.

Naturally, we make the necessary agreements with these parties (processors) to ensure the security of your personal data.

Furthermore, we will not pass on the provided data to third parties unless required and/or permitted by law, such as in the context of a police or judicial investigation.

We may also share personal data with third parties if you give us permission to do so. This consent may be withdrawn at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing prior to its withdrawal.

We do not provide personal data to parties based outside the EU.
